Salary: $18-$25 Hourly (Compensation Depending on Experience)
About Us: LaFace Flooring, LLC is a reputable company specializing in flooring solutions, and we are currently seeking skilled Flooring Installers to join our team. If you have a strong background in flooring installation and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Install various flooring types, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, and tile
- Utilize skills in other trades to enhance flooring installations
- •Conduct routine visual inspections to ensure quality workmanship
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Report directly to the Project Manager and collaborate effectively within a team
Qualifications:
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate driver’s license prior to employment
- 3-5 year combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work
- Successful completion of a 10 hour OSHA safety course
- Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in the building trades
- Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Experience in other trades is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team player with excellent time management skills
- Prior customer service experience is valued

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50+ lbs
- Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions, including exposure to moderate/high noise levels, dust, and confined spaces
- Regular, physical on-site attendance is required
Environmental Conditions:
- Travel to various work sites daily
- Work in varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors, including inclement weather conditions
- Exposure to moderate/high noise levels and airborne particles
- May work in confined spaces or from high heights
